The Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP) is implemented by the Government of India, to promote integrated textile value chains and boost the performance of the textile sector, thereby creating jobs, by encouraging large scale private investment.

Deesan Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is one such park, located in Shirpur Taluk, Dhule, Maharashtra. The group started its operations at Shirpur in 1998, with with a capacity of 25,000 spindles; it has expanded over the years to to 1,40,000 spindles capacity.

The Deesan Group has been instrumental in operating ginning, spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing & garmenting activities.

The Deesan Textile Park houses world class infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, spread over 105 acres. There are 50 operational units consisting of warping, sizing, processing, weaving & terry towel manufacturing units. A total investment of Rs. 116 Crores has been made towards the development of infrastructure & factory buildings in the park. The total investment is Rs. 200 crores.

The park is fully operational and provides direct employment to more than 800 people. Production of 216 lac meter of weaved material and 4320 tons of terry towels & processing of 3600 tons of material are carried out in the park. The park is a successfully implemented SITP project, developed with the capital grant support of Rs. 40 crore from Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
